FuRyu has announced a new addition to its Noodle Stopper Figure collection featuring Ryuk, the iconic Shinigami from Death Note. The figure is designed to perch on the edge of shelves or atop cup noodles, staying true to the traditional design of Noodle Stopper merchandise.
The Ryuk figure will debut in Japan in the first half of May 2026, with availability expected in stores and through crane games. Given FuRyu’s history of releasing Noodle Stopper Figures worldwide, the collectible is likely to appear on platforms such as Amazon and Crunchyroll in the coming months.
As a Noodle Stopper Figure, Ryuk is designed in a fixed perching pose without additional articulation. The figure is intended to secure the lid of instant noodles or be placed on surfaces to create the illusion of dangling. Notably, Ryuk holds an apple in his left hand, a signature element of the character.
This is not the first dark-themed Noodle Stopper Figure FuRyu has released recently. In April 2026, the company introduced a figure of Sadako, the vengeful spirit from The Ring series.
Availability and Distribution
The Ryuk figure will be available in Japan starting in May 2026, with international distribution expected to follow. In North America, Viz Media handles the Death Note manga, while the anime is available on Crunchyroll. The live-action adaptation can be streamed on Netflix.
