The New York Jets have officially signed their second overall draft pick, edge rusher David Bailey, to a rookie contract. The team announced the agreement on Friday, finalizing a four-year deal worth $54.6 million. The contract includes a team option for a fifth season.

In addition to Bailey, the Jets have also signed second-round pick D'Angelo Ponds, a former Indiana cornerback, to a four-year deal. The team continues to solidify its roster ahead of the upcoming season.

On Thursday, the Jets signed tight end Kenyon Sadiq, further filling out their roster. With these signings, only first-round wide receiver Omar Cooper and fourth-round defensive tackle Darrell Jackson remain unsigned from the team’s draft class.
