The Las Vegas Raiders have bolstered their defensive line with the signing of veteran defensive tackle Benito Jones for the 2026 season. The move was officially announced on Wednesday, coinciding with the team’s decision to waive defensive tackle Brodric Martin with an injury designation.

Jones, who previously played for the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and Pittsburgh Steelers, brings valuable experience to the Raiders’ roster. Last season with the Dolphins, he recorded 15 tackles and 1 sack across 14 games. His NFL journey began in 2020 when he joined Miami as an undrafted free agent. He later played 34 games for the Lions in 2022 and 2023 before returning to the Dolphins for the past two seasons.

Over his six-year career, Jones has accumulated 83 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. His versatility and defensive presence make him a key addition to the Raiders’ lineup.

In a corresponding roster move, the Raiders waived Brodric Martin, who played in just one game for the Steelers last year. Martin was claimed off waivers by Las Vegas in December but will now leave the team.
