The Los Angeles Rams continue to bolster their tight end corps, selecting Max Klare out of Ohio State with the No. 61 overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Klare, who transferred from Purdue to Ohio State in 2025, has a proven track record of production. In his final collegiate season, he recorded 43 receptions for 448 yards and two touchdowns. He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2025, recognizing his standout performance.
His collegiate career totals include 116 receptions for 1,329 yards and six touchdowns across 32 games. Klare’s versatility and experience in multi-tight end formations align with the Rams’ offensive strategy.
This selection marks the second offensive pick for the Rams in the 2026 draft, following their earlier selection of quarterback Ty Simpson at No. 13 overall on the draft’s first night.
