Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua officially began the team’s voluntary offseason program on Monday, marking his return to team activities. On Tuesday, head coach Sean McVay confirmed that Nacua is expected to fully participate in the entire offseason program.

Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, announced earlier this month that Nacua had voluntarily checked himself into a holistic care rehab facility. The announcement followed a lawsuit filed against Nacua by a Los Angeles woman, who accused him of biting her and making antisemitic remarks during an incident on New Year’s Eve.

During his predraft news conference, McVay addressed Nacua’s status, stating:

"He’ll be a full participant. Great to be able to see him. Looks great. He's doing really well."

McVay also revealed that he and Nacua have had private conversations but did not disclose further details. He emphasized the strength of their relationship, saying:

"He and I have a great relationship and feel really good about kind of the direction that we're going."
