Epic Games has launched the Rivals and Rockets crossover event, offering unique rewards for both Rocket League and Fortnite. Players can earn exclusive in-game items, including the Havoc car body for Rocket League, by completing challenges in both titles.
Event Overview and Timeline
The Rivals and Rockets event began on Friday, April 17 and will run until the end of the month. Players can participate in challenges across both games to unlock rewards, some of which are shared between Rocket League and Fortnite.
How to Earn All Rocket League Rewards
Complete the following challenges in Rocket League to earn rewards:
- Hit the ball 50 times in Online Matches: Earn 10,000 XP
- Get 5 Goals in Online Matches: Earn 10,000 XP
- Get 15 Centers or Clears in Online Matches: Earn 10,000 XP
- Play 5 in Online Matches: Earn 10,000 XP
- Win 5 in Online Matches: Unlock the Drippy Player Title
Completing all five challenges rewards players with the Dueling Jackie Outfit, which is usable in Fortnite. The remaining rewards are exclusive to Rocket League.
How to Unlock the Havoc Car in Rocket League
To obtain the Havoc car body in Rocket League, players must complete six quests in Fortnite:
- Visit 3 named locations
- Search 25 chests and ammo boxes
- Eliminate 15 opponents
- Travel 1,000 meters in vehicles
- Outlast 200 players
- Reach the top 20 in different matches
These tasks can be completed in either Build or Zero-Build modes. Once all quests are finished, the Havoc car will be available in both Rocket League and Fortnite for players to use.
