Spotify has announced the expansion of its AI-powered DJ feature to more than 75 markets globally. The update introduces support for additional languages, further enhancing the personalized listening experience for Premium subscribers.
This rollout follows the feature’s initial launch in select regions earlier this year. The AI DJ provides users with a curated mix of songs, tailored to their listening habits, and includes real-time commentary delivered by an AI voice.
The expansion marks a significant step in Spotify’s efforts to leverage artificial intelligence to improve user engagement and satisfaction. The feature is now accessible to Premium users in markets across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Spotify has not yet disclosed a full list of supported languages or markets. However, the company confirmed that the update includes Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese in addition to English. More languages are expected to be added in the coming months.
In a statement, Spotify said:
"We’re thrilled to bring the AI DJ to even more listeners around the world. This expansion is part of our commitment to using technology to create more meaningful connections with music."
The AI DJ feature is available to all Spotify Premium subscribers, including Individual, Duo, Family, and Student plans. Users can access it directly from the Spotify mobile app by navigating to the "DJ" tab in the player interface.
