Houston Texans General Manager Nick Caserio has once again dismissed trade speculation surrounding his roster, this time targeting rumors about wide receiver Nico Collins.

Earlier this offseason, Caserio shut down unfounded reports suggesting the team might trade quarterback C.J. Stroud, calling the speculation "moronic." On Friday, he took a similarly firm stance against claims that other teams had inquired about acquiring Collins.

"Teams call all the time and ask about players. We're not trading Nico Collins," Caserio stated during a press conference. "Whoever reported it or whatever information that they had, they can shove it. We're not trading Nico."

While Caserio remains steadfast in retaining Collins, the team may need to address his contract situation in the near future. Collins is currently under contract for two more seasons, with salaries of $20 million in 2025 and $21.2 million in 2026. However, the wide receiver market has seen a dramatic increase in value since Collins signed his extension in 2024, highlighted by recent deals for players like Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Ja'Marr Chase.
