How to Participate in The Division 2 Cherry Blossom Event

The Cherry Blossom event in The Division 2 is now live, offering players a chance to earn free rewards by completing special challenges. While all rewards are free, players must defeat powerful enemies and complete exploration tasks to obtain event keys.

How to Get Cherry Blossom Event Keys

Event keys are required to unlock rewards from the event vendor. There are three main ways to obtain them:

1. Kitsunebi Ambushes

Kitsunebi are special named enemies that ambush the streets every 10 minutes. These enemies share a health link, but their unstable tech can cause self-damage, breaking the link. Players should take advantage of these moments to eliminate them and earn event keys.

2. Ronin Battles

After defeating Kitsunebi, players must face the Ronin. In group play, both the Fox Ronin and Red Ronin must be defeated simultaneously. Ronin battles are more challenging, and higher difficulties increase the chance of key drops.

3. Exploration and Decoration Restoration

During the event, Cherry Blossom decorations are scattered throughout Washington, D.C. Players can interact with 40 decorations to free their corruption. Each day, players get three additional attempts to restore decorations, but this increases enemy ambush chances.
