The Trump phone, a device developed by Trump Mobile, is set to begin shipping to customers this week, according to CEO Pat O'Brien. The announcement, made to USA Today, follows widespread reports this week claiming that preorders for the phone had been canceled.
In an email to USA Today, O'Brien confirmed that all preorders will be fulfilled within the next few weeks. Despite the phone’s numerous delays—now totaling 11 months since its initial announcement—O'Brien did not provide a detailed explanation for the extended launch timeline.
"Those delays were worth it," O'Brien stated in the email, though he did not elaborate further on the reasons behind the postponements.
