Uniqlo has teamed up with Square Enix to introduce a new line of Dragon Quest-themed shirts in its Japanese stores. The collection features four unisex designs, each priced at ¥1,990 (~$13).

While the Dragon Quest shirts are not yet available outside Japan, Uniqlo typically expands such crossovers to global markets following the initial Japanese launch. The unisex sizes range from XS to 4XL in Japan, though North American sizing differs (XXS to 3XL), so customers should verify their fit before ordering.

Designs and Details

The Dragon Quest collection includes four distinct designs:

  • Hero Design: Features the Dragon Quest III hero with allies on the front and the series’ logo on the back.
  • King Slime Design: Displays eight standard Slimes on the front, forming a King Slime on the back.
  • Metal Slime Design: Showcases multiple monsters on the front pocket and a single Metal Slime near the bottom hemline on the back.
  • Monster Collection Design: Highlights various monsters on the front, with the combat UI box on the back.

Images of the designs are available via Square Enix and Uniqlo.

Future Uniqlo Game-Themed Collections

This is not Uniqlo’s first game-themed clothing collaboration. In March 2026, the retailer will launch a special collection celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon series, which is confirmed for a worldwide release.

The Dragon Quest shirts are now available at Uniqlo stores in Japan, with global availability anticipated in the future.
