Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has made it clear: "We are Xbox." Just last week, she announced the scrapping of Microsoft Gaming as the name of Microsoft’s gaming division, replacing it with Xbox alone.
To further solidify this rebranding, sources at Xbox have revealed that all Xbox employees will receive a new @xbox.com email address beginning next month.
The new @xbox.com address will replace the existing @microsoft.com address as the default send-from address for new emails. Employees will have the option to opt out and retain their @microsoft.com address as the default instead.
Additionally, Mojang employees will be issued an @mojang.com email address. Both Xbox and Mojang staff will retain their existing email systems for internal communications.
