The Seattle Seahawks are still evaluating free agent edge rusher Dante Fowler as a potential defensive addition following the draft. Fowler visited the team before the 2024 NFL Draft, and his name remains under consideration as Seattle seeks to bolster its pass rush.

According to Brady Henderson of ESPN, Fowler is considered "a top option" for the Seahawks. The team’s defensive coordinator, Aden Durde, has firsthand experience coaching Fowler, having worked with him during his tenure with the Atlanta Falcons in 2020 and later with the Dallas Cowboys from 2022 to 2023.

If Fowler were to sign with Seattle, his familiarity with Durde’s defensive schemes could provide a seamless transition. The 31-year-old edge rusher played all 17 games for the Cowboys last season, starting 11 of them, demonstrating his durability and consistency on the field.
