Microsoft has officially rolled out its Xbox Mode to all Windows 11 PCs, introducing a full-screen interface designed to enhance the gaming experience. This feature, which closely resembles Steam’s Big Picture Mode, was first introduced as the Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) with ASUS’ Xbox Ally devices.
The Xbox team announced that some players in select markets can download the Xbox Mode experience immediately, with broader availability rolling out over the next several weeks. To access Xbox Mode, users must install the latest Windows 11 update.
Xbox Mode aims to bridge the gap between Xbox consoles and Windows PCs, providing a console-like interface optimized for gaming. The feature is expected to improve accessibility and usability for gamers who prefer a streamlined, immersive experience.
