ג'וש פרידמן, שכתב את התסריט ל'ממלכת כוכב הקופים' ול'ארבעת המופלאים: צעדים ראשונים', יהיה אחראי על כתיבת התסריט לסרט החדש.
שאקמן יפיק את הפרויקט יחד עם ריק ג'אפה ואמנדה סילבר. הדיווח פורסם לראשונה ב-Deadline.
