Anthony Edwards left Game 4 of the first-round series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets in the 2026 NBA Playoffs in the second quarter after suffering a left leg injury.

Edwards had been playing through a right knee injury but aggravated his other knee following an awkward landing while contesting a shot by Nuggets forward Cameron Johnson.

The Timberwolves entered the game with a 2-1 series lead. Minnesota guard Donte DiVincenzo also exited the game after just 90 seconds with a potential Achilles injury and has been ruled out for the night.

With both Edwards and DiVincenzo sidelined, Minnesota has lost its two best guards during a critical home game, putting their playoff hopes at risk.

Edwards' performance before the injury: He shot 1-for-8 from the field, scoring five points in 18 minutes.

Updates on Edwards' condition will be provided as more information becomes available.
