Aston Martin Valhalla Owner Invests $108,000 in Custom Paint, Lists Supercar for Auction
Aston Martin has begun customer deliveries of the mid-engined Valhalla, and one owner is already capitalizing on the hype by listing the car for auction. The vehicle, finished in a striking Andromeda Red paint job, features a cabin adorned with Deep Purple semi-aniline leather and carbon fiber accents.
Exclusive Customization Details
The original owner spared no expense to make the Valhalla stand out. Totaling over $360,000 in options, the most notable addition is the $108,000 Andromeda Red paint, which shifts between orange, purple, pink, and red hues depending on the viewing angle.
Additional gold-accented upgrades include the front splitter, side skirts, and wheels, enhancing the car’s bold aesthetic. Inside, the cabin is wrapped in Deep Purple leather across the seats, door panels, dashboard, steering wheel, and headliner, with exposed carbon fiber and a gold-colored ring around the engine Start/Stop button.
Valhalla’s Performance and Production
The Valhalla is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined 1,064 hp and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque. This enables a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) sprint in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
Aston Martin plans to build just 999 examples of the Valhalla, positioning it as a rival to the Lamborghini Revuelto and Ferrari 849 Testarossa. Its limited production run draws comparisons to the Ferrari F80 and McLaren W1.
Quick Flip Strategy
While some collectors wait years to resell a halo car, this owner is taking a different approach. The Valhalla was listed for auction shortly after delivery, likely aiming for a quick profit. For those curious about the full specifications, the listing is available via Mecum Auctions.
"Some collectors wait years before flipping a halo car. Others apparently wait until the delivery truck leaves the neighborhood."
The Valhalla’s MSRP, with all options included, totals $1,479,700, making it one of the most expensive models built to date.
