The Atlanta Falcons have made a significant change in their front office following the NFL Draft. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, the Falcons and senior director of football administration Chris Olsen have mutually parted ways.
Olsen, who had been with the club since early 2021, played a key role in negotiating player, coach, and front-office contracts during his tenure. His responsibilities included overseeing contractual agreements across multiple departments within the organization.
Before joining the Falcons, Olsen spent 13 seasons with the Houston Texans, where he served as senior vice president of football administration. His duties in Houston closely mirrored those he later performed in Atlanta, focusing on contract negotiations and administrative oversight.
The Falcons’ front-office restructuring continues under new leadership. Matt Ryan has taken on the role of team president, Ian Cunningham serves as general manager, and Kevin Stefanski is the head coach. These changes reflect the organization’s efforts to reshape its structure ahead of the 2026 season.
