The Cleveland Browns have agreed to terms with veteran fullback Michael Burton, according to Tony Grossi of TheLandonDemand.com.

Burton, 34, brings experience from his two seasons with the Denver Broncos. In 2025, he played 16% of the team’s offensive snaps across 17 games. Additionally, Burton was a core special teams player, appearing on 62% of the Broncos’ special teams snaps last season.

NFL Career Highlights

Selected in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions, Burton has played for six teams over 10 seasons. He has appeared in 147 career games, accumulating 1,369 offensive snaps and 1,814 special teams snaps.

Under offensive coordinator Todd Monken, the Browns have utilized a fullback on 41% of their offensive snaps in recent seasons. Burton’s signing aligns with Cleveland’s commitment to a balanced, versatile offensive approach.
