Director Brett Ratner accompanied Donald Trump on a trip to China to scout filming locations for Rush Hour 4, a sequel nearly two decades in the making.

According to The California Post, Ratner joined Trump on Air Force One for the journey. The director will use the trip to identify potential shooting sites for the highly anticipated film, which follows the success of the original Rush Hour franchise.

Trump has previously expressed his admiration for the Rush Hour series, fueling speculation about his involvement in the project. Ratner, known for his work on blockbuster films, is also the director behind the Amazon-backed documentary Melania, which documented First Lady Melania Trump’s return to the White House for the former president’s second term.

The White House has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding Ratner’s participation in the trip.

Further updates on the Rush Hour 4 production are expected as details unfold.
