The Arizona Cardinals have made an addition to their defensive lineup, announcing the signing of linebacker Stephen Dix to the 90-man roster on Thursday.

Dix joins the Cardinals as the eighth undrafted rookie signed since the NFL Draft wrapped up last month. His arrival further strengthens the team’s depth at the linebacker position.

Dix’s collegiate career includes stints at Marshall, Florida State, and most recently, Arkansas. During his time with the Razorbacks, he recorded 79 tackles, four tackles for loss, and one sack in the 2023 season.

The Cardinals have been active in building their roster, drafting linebacker Karson Sharar in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Additionally, they signed free agent linebacker Jack Gibbens.

Other linebackers currently on the Cardinals’ roster include Mack Wilson, Cody Simon, Owen Pappoe, and Austin Keys.
