Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins announced record revenue for fiscal Q3 2026 on the same day the company revealed plans to lay off 4,000 employees.

In a blog post published yesterday, Robbins highlighted Cisco’s financial growth, stating that the company’s revenue increased by 12% year-over-year, reaching $15.8 billion for the quarter. He expressed pride in the company’s performance, telling employees,

"We could not be prouder of the growth you have all delivered for Cisco."

The announcement of record revenue coincides with the start of Cisco’s latest round of layoffs, affecting 4,000 employees. The company has not provided additional details about the workforce reductions.
