The Division 2 Year 8 Season 1 (Y8S1) Rise Up update is now live, bringing a fresh set of Assault Challenge tasks. Completing these tasks rewards players with valuable items and currency. The event follows the Y8S1.2 title update, offering an engaging way to earn rewards.
How to Complete The Division 2 Y8S1 Assault Challenge (Day One)
The first day features five tasks, which can be completed in any order. A global modifier highlights enemies in range, making it easier to track progress. Below are the tasks and how to complete them efficiently:
- Eliminate hostiles with SMG at close range: Use any submachine gun (SMG) to defeat 300 enemies at close range.
- Eliminate elite True Sons at close range: Target and eliminate elite True Sons enemies while they are in close proximity. Any weapon can be used.
- Eliminate hostiles with weakpoint kills at close range: Focus on elite enemies and target their weak points to defeat them.
- Eliminate Named Hostiles at close range: Approach and eliminate named enemies to complete this task.
- Eliminate hostiles with a Specialization weapon at close range: Use a Specialization weapon, such as the Flamethrower, to defeat enemies at close range.
Upon completing all five tasks, players receive 20 stars. These stars can be exchanged with the White House vendor for a variety of items. Additional challenges will be revealed in future updates, and this guide will be updated accordingly.
