Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, a free agent with 13 years of NFL experience, has played with 17 different starting quarterbacks during his career with the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Baltimore Ravens.

Among those quarterbacks are Deshaun Watson, Kyler Murray, Ryan Tannehill, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson.

Hopkins Names Joe Burrow as His Top Target

At the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, Hopkins was asked which quarterback he would prefer to play with among those he has not yet teamed up with. His response was immediate: Joe Burrow.

"I think Joe is one of the best," Hopkins told Sports Illustrated. "I love his game, his toughness. He took his team to a Super Bowl early in his career, and I feel like he can get back there with a little bit of help."

This isn’t the first time Hopkins has expressed interest in playing with Burrow. He previously mentioned a desire to reunite with the Bengals quarterback after catching a pass from him during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.

Hopkins’ Free Agency Status and Recent Performance

Hopkins, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, is currently a free agent seeking a new opportunity to continue his career. Last season with the Ravens, he appeared in 17 games but recorded only 22 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns.

Earlier this year, Hopkins had also expressed interest in reuniting with Kyler Murray in Minnesota, but his latest comments suggest Burrow is now his top priority.
