After the Patriots’ loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX, quarterback Drake Maye addressed questions about his right shoulder, which had raised concerns leading up to the championship game.

New England’s coaching staff had previously downplayed the injury, describing Maye’s shoulder as a non-issue. However, reports emerged that he received a painkilling injection in the shoulder just before the Super Bowl, casting doubt on the severity of the condition.

In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Maye dismissed any lingering concerns, stating:

"Nothing, nothing, no problems at all."

He added that he is feeling "great" and has experienced no further complications with the shoulder since the game.

Maye’s regular-season performance in 2024 was exceptional. He led the NFL in passer rating (113.5) and completed 72% of his passes, accumulating 4,394 yards and 31 touchdowns against just 8 interceptions. His efforts earned him a second-place finish in the AP MVP voting.

In the postseason, Maye completed 58.3% of his passes for 828 yards, with 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
