Honkai: Nexus Anima Beta Test Recruitment Now Open

HoYoVerse has shared new details about Honkai: Nexus Anima, including character art and locations, alongside the launch of the Aspect Exploration Project, a confidential beta test. The project was first teased in February 2026.

Confidential Beta Test Requirements

The Aspect Exploration Project is a small-scale, closed beta test that requires participants to sign and adhere to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Key details include:

  • No set end date for the test.
  • Registration survey remains open indefinitely, though availability may change over time.
  • Participants will be contacted in batches via email.
  • Eligibility requires participants to be 18 years or older.
  • Only PC, Android, or iOS devices are supported.
  • Progress will not carry over; new participants must start fresh.

New Locations and Characters Revealed

HoYoVerse unveiled concept art for three new locations and four characters in Honkai: Nexus Anima. These are not final designs and may change before release:

  • Pedestrian Street: An urban area featuring shops.
  • Fleming Tower: A futuristic office complex.
  • Kakatini Grand Hotel: An elegant hotel setting.

While the names of the four characters were not disclosed, one resembles a grown-up version of Carole Pepper from Honkai Impact 3rd. This aligns with previous crossovers, such as Blade from Honkai: Star Rail appearing in Honkai: Nexus Anima.
