The Catastrophe's Aftermath is one of the more challenging faction quests available in Windrose. While the ideal character level to tackle this quest is 7, players can attempt it earlier—though the tasks will be significantly harder.

Windrose Catastrophe's Aftermath Quest Walkthrough

The quest can be divided into the following key steps:

  • Retrieve supplies from a marked ship
  • Deliver supplies to Charlie Sharpe at the refugee camp
  • Collect 15 bundles of healing herbs for Doctor Galen
  • Return the medicine to Charlie Sharpe
  • Eliminate Jim Godart
  • Report back to Charlie Sharpe

1. Get the Supplies from the Ship

After accepting the quest, follow the quest marker to a marked ship on the map. Retrieve all available supplies from the location. Be prepared to face drowned enemies that must be cleared before progressing.

2. Bring the Supplies to Charlie Sharpe at the Refugee Camp

Follow the quest marker to the refugee camp, where you will meet Charlie Sharpe. This is the same character encountered during the Buccaneers faction quest. Charlie will direct you to speak with Doctor Galen.

When you meet Doctor Galen, he will explain that he lacks a spare stock of medicine but can craft it if you provide the necessary ingredients.

3. Collect 15 Bundles of Healing Herbs and Return to Galen

Search the map for 15 Healing Herbs. You may already have some in your stash. Alternatively, these herbs can be found randomly by defeating enemies or searching Ancient Containers.

Once you gather the herbs, return them to Doctor Galen. He will then craft and provide you with a care package of medicine. Deliver this crate to Charlie Sharpe.

Charlie will express his gratitude and request one final favor: taking down Jim Godart, whose details were provided by Long Ben.

4. Eliminate Jim Godart

Follow the quest marker to Godart's camp, where his entire crew will be present. Exercise caution, as Godart uses a ranged weapon. Using a firearm is recommended to avoid close combat.

Isolate Godart and fire at him, then retreat. He will pursue you, allowing you to eliminate him with a few additional shots, depending on your level and weapon. Only Jim Godart needs to be defeated; any extra combat is optional.

After completing the task, return to Charlie Sharpe to finish the quest.
