Jesse Collins Entertainment will produce the 78th Emmy Awards, returning as the show’s producer for a fourth consecutive year. The announcement was made jointly by NBCUniversal and the Television Academy on Thursday.
The production team includes partners Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay, who will serve alongside Collins as executive producers. The 78th Emmy Awards will air on NBC and stream live on Peacock.
This follows NBC’s 100-year anniversary celebration in May, adding to the significance of the event.
Reactions from NBC and the Television Academy
“In the year that we celebrate NBC’s 100th anniversary, we’re honored to be the home of the Emmy Awards and know we’re in great hands with Jesse and his team. His experience on previous Emmys and other high-profile broadcasts makes him a perfect choice to produce this beloved event.”
Jen Neal, Executive Vice President of Live Events and Specials at NBC Peacock, shared this statement.
Collins and Harmon’s Emmy-Winning Legacy
Collins and Harmon bring Emmy-winning experience to the production team. Collins won a 2022 Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) as executive producer of The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show Starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent. Harmon co-executive produced the same special and also won an Emmy.
Rouzan-Clay has been nominated twice for the Grammys as co-executive producer—once in 2022 and again in 2024.
Vision for the 78th Emmy Awards
“Our focus is on delivering an Emmys broadcast that feels current, creative and reflective of where the industry is today. Jesse, Dionne, and Jeannae have been strong partners in that effort over the past three years, and we’re excited to keep building together.”
Cris Abrego, Chair of the Television Academy, provided this statement.
