Kia has announced significant price reductions for the 2026 EV6, with discounts ranging from $5,000 to $5,900 across trims. The base EV6 Light Standard Range now starts at $37,900 before a $1,545 destination fee—a $5,000 savings compared to the 2025 model.

Higher trims also see substantial cuts: the Light Long Range is reduced by $5,000, the all-wheel-drive variant by $5,100, and the Wind trim by $5,500, bringing its starting price to $44,800. The GT-Line now starts at $48,700, a $5,500 discount, while the AWD version is lowered by $5,900.

Kia confirmed the EV6 GT is no longer being imported due to "changing market conditions," though no pricing details were provided for the high-performance variant.

Why Kia Slashed EV6 Prices

Through the first four months of 2024, Kia EV6 sales plummeted 37.4%, dropping to 2,751 units. Industry analysts attribute the decline to the elimination of the federal electric vehicle tax credit, which previously reduced the EV6’s effective cost by up to $7,500. Kia’s aggressive pricing adjustment aims to offset this loss and stimulate demand for the 2026 model year.
