Kimera has unveiled the EVO38 Collezione Martini, an all-wheel-drive supercar adorned with Martini Racing’s iconic stripes, reviving the brand’s motorsport heritage. The limited-run model debuted during the Rally Storico Costa Smeralda in Sardinia, marking a return to the partnership that produced the earlier EVO37 Martini 7.

Unlike the one-off EVO37, the EVO38 Collezione Martini offers multiple liveries and finishes inspired by Martini’s racing legacy. Early themes include Pearl White, Vermouth Red, and Dry Green, with additional variations to be revealed. Buyers must act quickly—only a handful of units remain available.

Beneath the Martini stripes and vented hood, the EVO38 Collezione Martini retains the core formula of its predecessor: all-wheel drive, a wide and boxy carbon-fiber body, and styling heavily influenced by the legendary Lancia 037, the last rear-wheel-drive car to win the World Rally Championship (WRC) in 1983.

631 HP with E85 Fuel Support

The Martini edition gains significant performance upgrades. Kimera’s 2.1-liter twin-charged four-cylinder engine now produces 631 hp (640 PS), up from the standard EVO38’s 592 hp (600 PS). Torque increases by nearly 22 percent to 516 lb-ft (700 Nm), while the rev limit extends to 8,200 rpm.

To achieve this power, the engine now supports E85 bioethanol via a Flex Fuel system, maximizing output. An additional intercooler spray setup uses high-pressure cold water jets to maintain intake temperatures during aggressive driving.

The car’s weight remains around 1,100 kg (2,425 lbs), with Kimera hinting at potential further weight savings. Paired with the six-speed manual and AWD system, the power delivery promises exhilarating performance on mountain roads.

Kimera K-39 Hypercar: A Clean-Sheet Design

For those seeking even more performance, Kimera has confirmed production of the K-39 hypercar, a clean-sheet design unlike the Lancia Beta Montecarlo-based EVO38. The company first showcased the K-39 as a concept in 2024, inspired by the Montecarlo Turbo silhouette racer that dominated motorsport from 1979 to 1981.

More details about the K-39 are expected on May 15, offering a glimpse into Kimera’s future ambitions in hypercar territory.
