Lamborghini has teased a new limited-edition model based on the Fenomeno, widely expected to be a roadster. The model is set to debut this weekend with a staggering 1,065 hp.
This year marks Lamborghini’s 63rd anniversary, a significant milestone as the automaker was founded in 1963. To celebrate, the company is hosting a special event this weekend.
Teased Model: Fenomeno Roadster
The automaker’s social media teaser revealed a darkened image of the new vehicle, showcasing its aggressive design. Key features include:
- A hood with prominent intakes and sizable vents
- A carbon fiber splitter
- Vertical air curtains
While details remain scarce, the model is likely a Fenomeno Spyder. Lamborghini currently lacks a drop-top in its lineup, but spy photographers have recently captured images of a Temerario Spyder, suggesting an expansion in this direction.
Performance Specifications
The Fenomeno coupe is limited to just 29 units and features the most powerful V12 in Lamborghini’s history. The naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 produces 824 hp (614 kW / 835 PS) and 535 lb-ft (725 Nm) of torque. It is paired with three electric motors: two mounted up front and one integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The motors draw power from a 7 kWh battery, delivering a combined output of 1,065 hp (794 kW / 1,080 PS). This enables the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.4 seconds and reach a top speed of over 217 mph (350 km/h).
For context, the Revuelto produces a combined 1,001 hp (747 kW / 1,015 PS), allowing it to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.5 seconds and achieve a similar top speed.
"The Fenomeno’s performance numbers redefine what’s possible in a naturally-aspirated hypercar."
