Capcom has launched a dedicated website to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Okami, coinciding with the game’s original Japanese PlayStation 2 release date. While the site is available in multiple languages, including English, the Japanese version includes exclusive announcements for concerts and merchandise.

Okami 20th Anniversary Concert Details

The Okami 20th Anniversary Concert will take place at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo, Japan, on April 29, 2026. Additionally, Capcom and Promax have announced a second performance at Hall A of the Tokyo International Forum on Sunday, December 27, 2026.

New Okami Merchandise Collections

Capcom has revealed two new Okami anniversary merchandise collections exclusively for Japan:

  • Framed Art by Mari Shimazaki:
    • A 49×32.8cm (~19x13in) framed Chara Fine Graph priced at ¥18,700 (~$117.65)
    • A large foldable screen sized at 196×119.5cm (~77x47in) priced at ¥495,000 (~$3,115)
  • New Illustrations by Oharuchan:
    A lineup of merchandise available at Capcom Stores nationwide, including:
    • Clear file: ¥660 (~$4.15)
    • T-shirt: ¥4,180 (~$26.30)

Okami Series Timeline and Future

Okami was first released for PlayStation 2 in Japan on April 20, 2006. The game is also available as Okami HD on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The 20th anniversary website also recognizes Okamiden, the 2010 Nintendo DS entry, and the upcoming sequel currently in development by Hideki Kamiya and CLOVERS as of early 2026.
