Porsche has once again drawn inspiration from animation, following the 911 Sally Special—a one-off 911 styled after Sally Carrera from Disney and Pixar’s Cars franchise. This time, the German automaker has crafted three new 911 models, each influenced by beloved characters from Toy Story: Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jessie.
The trio of cars will make their debut on June 19 at the red-carpet premiere of Toy Story 5 in Los Angeles.
Design Elements Reflect Each Character’s Personality
As with the 911 Sally Special, these new models feature stylistic tweaks tailored to each character’s personality. While full details remain under wraps, expect special wheels, custom paint colors, and interior modifications.
Teaser Clues Hint at Model Variations
Based on the teaser image, Porsche appears to have used multiple 911 models for this project. The car facing the camera features a notably large rear wing, leading to speculation that it is a 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear. The wing may incorporate purple and green accents, mirroring Buzz’s iconic design.
The vehicle on the left appears to be a 911 Targa, though it remains unclear whether it represents Woody or Jessie. Readers are invited to share their guesses in the comments.
Charitable Initiative: Cars to Benefit Children’s Nonprofits
Beyond their nostalgic appeal, these three one-off 911s serve a charitable purpose. Porsche will sell them as a package deal, with proceeds supporting three designated non-profit organizations focused on helping children and people in need. The specific organizations have not yet been announced.
In addition to the teaser image, Porsche released a teaser video to accompany the reveal.
