R.E.P.O. has always thrived on hidden lore and cryptic secrets, but the latest Cosmetics Update has breathed new life into the game’s mysterious secret shop. First introduced at launch in February 2025, the secret shop was a fleeting curiosity—an optional area where semibots could explore fragments of R.E.P.O.’s lore without immediate threats. While players could easily access it via the Service Station using tools like the Feather Drone, Double Jump, or Zero Gravity, the lack of compelling reasons to revisit made it a one-time novelty.

With the Cosmetics Update, however, the secret shop’s relevance may have changed. The update overhauls the Service Station’s design, introducing five distinct variations of the shop, each with unique interiors and exteriors visible from the loading screen. This redesign not only enhances immersion but also shuffles the secret shop’s location, forcing players to rethink their approach.

How to Find the R.E.P.O. Secret Shop in the Cosmetics Update

The traditional spot for the secret shop is no longer available. Instead, players must explore the Service Station’s new areas to locate hidden entrances. The key is to focus on sections that deviate from the original layout, such as:

• The ominous white door
• The diner
• The restroom (WC)
• The freezer or waiting area

These areas often conceal the secret shop’s entrance. So far, players have discovered the following locations:

1. Behind the Freezer with Cracked Glass

A section of the floor near the freezer is fake, leading to a creepy basement where dormant semibots are imprisoned. This area can be accessed by breaking through the cracked glass.

2. Inside the Restroom (WC) Crawlspace

The secret shop can be found in the crawlspace above the first cubicle in the restroom. Players can reach this entrance without upgrades or drones by flushing the toilet while inside, which ejects them into the crawlspace.

3. Behind the White Door in the Garage

The garage, typically located opposite the Truck, may serve as the secret shop’s entrance. This area is accessible through a white door, though it doesn’t require a hidden passage.

4. Behind the Diner’s Counter

In Service Stations featuring a diner, players can break through the wall behind the counter and barstools. Use grenades or melee weapons to smash through the cracked surface and reveal the secret shop.

What’s Inside the Secret Shop?

While the new Service Station designs add depth to R.E.P.O.’s lore, the secret shop’s inventory remains disappointingly limited. Currently, the shop only stocks:

• Duct-Taped Grenades
• Human Grenades
• Duck Bucket

Despite the lack of variety, the updated environments offer fresh visual storytelling, giving players more to explore beyond the usual healing items, upgrades, and weapons.
