As Stephen Colbert’s final episode of The Late Show approaches, the CBS host’s interview with John Krasinski on May 16 took an unexpected turn—devolving into bourbon shots and a leg wrestling match.

Krasinski appeared on the show to promote Jack Ryan: Ghost War, which premieres on May 20 on Prime Video. He opened the segment by thanking Colbert for allowing him to be the final guest, though the host insisted it was all part of the bit.

Colbert then revealed a hidden bar behind his chair and poured two shots of bourbon for himself and Krasinski.

"I have no idea where we are in this interview and I do not care!" Colbert joked.

The two hosts reminisced about their past arm wrestling matches before Colbert suggested switching to leg wrestling. After the commercial break, they continued drinking, cleared space on stage, and prepared for the unusual challenge.

Krasinski, seemingly unprepared for the stunt, playfully pleaded for medical assistance.

"I’m so sorry, can someone call an ambulance now?" he said. "Just preemptively, preemptively."

The leg wrestling match was straightforward: the men hooked arms, extended their legs, and on the count of three, attempted to flip each other over. The winner was not disclosed in the segment, but the full video is available above.
