Toyota’s Land Cruiser Base division is rolling out two one-off concept vehicles to Field Style Tokyo 2026, an exhibition scheduled for May 9–10, 2026 in Japan. The pair of “Urban Style” concepts—one based on the Land Cruiser 70 and the other on the LC250—are designed to bridge the gap between off-road capability and urban sophistication, though neither will enter production.
The Land Cruiser 70 concept features a beige paint job with matching alloy wheels and all-terrain tires. Black and grey retro stripes, inspired by 1980s styling, run along the flanks, earning it the name “Urban Heritage Style.” Toyota emphasizes that the concept proves a rugged vehicle can maintain its off-road credibility while appealing to city drivers.
The LC250 concept adopts a darker aesthetic, with matte grey bodywork contrasted by gloss black roof, pillars, plastic cladding, mirrors, rear bumper, and tailgate. Its 20-inch wheels, sourced from higher trims, are refinished in a dark metallic finish. The result is a sleeker, more subdued look compared to the 70 Series concept.
Toyota has not released technical specifications or interior images for either concept, leaving it unclear whether they include any performance upgrades beneath the surface. Optional accessories are likely to be featured, but details remain undisclosed.
