The model, previewed at the Beijing Auto Show and now fully revealed, represents a significant evolution for the Trumpchi brand, which previously struggled with uninspired designs.

Yue 7: A Rugged SUV with Familiar Inspiration

The Yue 7 is Trumpchi’s first proper off-roader, drawing clear inspiration from iconic models like the Toyota Land Cruiser and Land Rover Defender. The exterior design prioritizes rugged aesthetics, featuring a blacked-out front bumper, a black grille, and striking headlights with distinctive DRLs. The SUV’s wheel arches are notably chunky, complemented by robust door handles and side steps. Images from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) also showcase multiple wheel designs, including bead-lock-inspired and black-spoke options.

At the rear, the Yue 7 includes a spare wheel carrier, while its taillights maintain a simple yet fitting design, paired with a black bumper.
