In Windrose, you’re never alone—even when playing solo. The early access version introduces six charismatic NPCs, each fulfilling a vital role in your adventure. Some are unlocked through quests, while others require additional steps to recruit.

| Black Axel | Alchemist | Located at the People of Tortuga base. Hiring him costs 500 Piastre. Black Axel grants a 30% chance to craft an extra potion. |
