Honda Access is embracing 1980s nostalgia with the launch of its new Bulldog Style accessories for the electric Super-One in Japan. The kit transforms the electric hot hatch into a sporty homage to its spiritual predecessor, the Honda City Turbo II—nicknamed the Bulldog in the 1980s.
The accessories include:
- Bulldog decals in red, positioned on the doors, tailgate, and front bumper, mirroring the original Turbo II design. A secondary 'electric power' decal beneath highlights the zero-emission nature of the Super-One.
- A large black roof spoiler, significantly larger than the stock unit, matching the roof and Honda emblems.
- Bi-color LED fog lights with black garnish, mounted between the side inlets and central cooling intake. These lights can project white or yellow beams.
- 15-inch black aluminum wheels with six double spokes, offering a subtle upgrade compared to Honda’s recent Mugen catalogue.
The Super-One already features an aggressive body kit with flared fenders and deep bumpers, so the accessories focus on refined details to enhance its sporty appeal.
Technical Specifications and Launch Details
The Super-One is powered by a single electric motor delivering 63 hp (47 kW / 64 PS) in standard mode and up to 94 hp (70 kW / 95 PS) in Boost Mode. The vehicle also includes an Active Sound Control system that simulates gear shifts and engine growls through the speakers. Its chassis setup differs from the N-One kei car, featuring stiffer dampers and wider tracks for improved handling.
The accessorized Super-One was showcased at the Automobile Council 2026 in Chiba, alongside an original City Turbo II. Pre-orders for the Super-One and its Bulldog Style accessories opened earlier this month in Japan, with the official market launch scheduled for May. Official pricing for the accessories will be announced in the coming weeks.
