LG has announced the pricing and availability of its Micro RGB evo, the company’s first television to adopt a display trend that gained momentum at CES 2026. The LG Micro RGB evo is now available for pre-order, with prices starting at $5,000.

The new TV follows LG’s recent release of the ultra-thin LG Wallpaper and represents the flagship model in a new display category at LG, building on the company’s advancements in Mini LED technology.

Key Features of the LG Micro RGB evo

  • Micro RGB Panel: The TV utilizes LG’s proprietary Micro RGB panel, which features individually controlled red, green, and blue LEDs for precise color reproduction.
  • Alpha A11 AI Processor: Powered by LG’s Alpha A11 AI processor, the TV runs on webOS and drives the Micro RGB Engine, which manages the TV’s LED system.
  • Full Color Gamut Coverage: The Micro RGB evo delivers full gamut coverage across DCI-P3, BT.2020, and Adobe RGB, ensuring vibrant and accurate colors.
  • Enhanced Contrast & Detail: With over a thousand dimming zones, the TV offers improved contrast and refined detail compared to traditional displays.

While Micro RGB panels provide superior color representation compared to OLED, LG acknowledges that OLED TVs still excel in areas like contrast and dimming. Unlike Mini LED TVs, which use blue or white LEDs, the Micro RGB evo incorporates individually controlled RGB LEDs—a technology also being explored by competitors like TCL and Samsung.

Pricing and Availability

The LG Micro RGB evo is available for pre-order today via LG’s official website in three screen sizes:

  • 75-inch model: Starts at $5,000
  • 86-inch model: Pricing to be announced
  • 100-inch model: Pricing to be announced

For now, the Micro RGB evo is positioned at a premium price point, making it less accessible than some QD-OLED or OLED TVs on the market.
