Entergram has officially opened the Steam page for Okayu Nyumu R, the new visual novel starring Hololive VTuber Nekomata Okayu. The page confirms that an English translation will be available for the PC version upon release.
This follows the original Okayu Nyumu, which launched on Switch, PS4, and PC and received an English release in August 2025. However, the English update will only apply to the PC version of Okayu Nyumu R—no such update is planned for the Switch or PS4 versions, which are set to launch in March 2026.
Okayu Nyumu R serves as a direct sequel to the original game. Players will continue their relationship with Okayu, who suggests a trip to Aomori to gather ideas for a food fair. The experience functions as a vacation simulator, blending adventure with lighthearted storytelling.
Nekomata Okayu herself provides voice acting for the game, with cameos from other Hololive performers such as Inugami Korone, mirroring the original’s cast. A trailer for the game’s opening movie is already available online.
Entergram has a strong track record in developing visual novels based on Hololive VTubers, including Nekomata Okayu’s Okayu Nyumu R and Minato Aqua’s Aquarium. The PC version of Okayu Nyumu R will be accessible on Steam with an English translation included.
Currently, Okayu Nyumu R is available on Switch, PS4, and PC in Japan, with the Steam version set to launch soon.
