Reports of a high-performance street truck returning to the Ram lineup have been confirmed. The revival is led by Tim Kuniskis, widely recognized as the Father of Hellcats, and promises to deliver a loud, proud, and powerful driving experience.

On Saturday, Ram teased the return of the iconic Rumble Bee nameplate through videos shared on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The teaser features UFC fighter Dana White and showcases a black-and-yellow paint scheme adorned with a flying bee on the rear quarter panels. Most notably, the sound of an ear-splitting V8 engine—likely supercharged—dominates the footage.

Featuring Americana imagery and the roar of a V8, the teaser underscores Ram’s commitment to high-performance trucks.

In 2025, Ram announced a 650-horsepower street truck developed in collaboration with Fox Factory and Mopar Direct Connection. During an interview with The Drive in January, Kuniskis revealed that the truck serves as a test of “market acceptance” and has already exceeded expectations.

Kuniskis dismissed the possibility of a 6.4-liter naturally aspirated 392 V8-powered single-cab Ram 1500 street truck, emphasizing the return of SRT, the TRX (now boasting 777 hp), and the Hemi V8—which has become a symbol of protest, even appearing on window stickers. These moves are all credited to Kuniskis’ return to Stellantis.

When asked about the longevity of these performance-focused efforts, Kuniskis responded, “call Washington.” Despite Ram’s decision to abandon its electric truck plans, Kuniskis expressed enthusiasm for electrification, stating it is “fantastic” and “will take over” in the long run.

For now, Ram appears fully committed to gasoline-powered performance, with the Rumble Bee revival leading the charge. Rumors suggest the truck may be based on the TRX but lowered with sticky tires. The official reveal is likely imminent.
