Ram has released a teaser video suggesting the arrival of a new high-performance street truck, potentially reviving the SRT-10 legacy. The model is expected to feature a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine producing around 777 horsepower.
Last year, Ram introduced the 1500 SRT TRX at a media event, where CEO Tim Kuniskis hinted at additional performance variants. He stated that the 777 hp (579 kW / 788 PS) pickup "hints at something else coming down the line."
First Look at the Teaser Video
Ram’s new teaser video, featuring UFC President Dana White, warns that "Things are about to get loud." The clip showcases the truck revving its engine and performing smoky burnouts to Guns N’ Roses’ Welcome to the Jungle.
The video reveals an aggressive front fascia with triangular intakes and a wide central opening. A two-tone paint job, black wheels with yellow brake calipers, a sport bar, and a large rear spoiler are also visible.
SRT-10 Vibes and the Future of Sport Trucks
The mystery model strongly resembles the iconic SRT-10 series, a segment automakers have largely abandoned in favor of off-road variants. This teaser suggests Ram may be bringing back the high-performance street truck category.
