SiriusXM Adds Two New ABC News Channels in 2024

SiriusXM has partnered with ABC News to launch two new dedicated channels, expanding its news and true crime coverage for listeners. The additions include ‘ABC News Live’ and ‘20/20 True Crime’, both available on the SiriusXM app.

Channel Launch Dates and Access

  • ‘ABC News Live’ is now live on channel 796 as of Monday, March 2024.
  • ‘20/20 True Crime’ will debut on channel 794 later in spring 2024.

Additionally, ABC News’ existing programs ‘This Week with George Stephanopoulos’ and ‘Start Here Weekend’ will now air on the P.O.T.U.S. channel. These shows will follow updated schedules:

  • ‘This Week with George Stephanopoulos’ (co-anchored by George Stephanopoulos, Martha Raddatz, and Jonathan Karl) airs Sundays at 2:00 p.m. ET.
  • ‘Start Here Weekend’ airs Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ET.

What to Expect from ‘ABC News Live’

‘20/20 True Crime’: A Deep Dive into Investigative Storytelling

“‘20/20 True Crime’ will be a nonstop destination for gripping, in-depth storytelling from ‘20/20’ and ABC News,” the announcement continues. “The channel will feature award-winning narrative podcasts, full episodes of ‘20/20,’ installments of ‘20/20: The After Show’ and curated cases from the ‘20/20 True Crime Vault.’ From headline-making investigations to unforgettable mysteries, listeners can dive into the stories, twists and reporting that bring the truth to light.”
