Square Enix has announced that select chapters of two Final Fantasy XIV manga series will be available for free via Manga Up during the 2026 US installment of the FFXIV Fan Festival.
The two series included in the promotion are:
- FFXIV: Eorzea Academy
- Saki FFXIV
Access is available on the official Manga Up website and app, with no account required. The promotion covers browser-based versions of both series.
A physical copy of FFXIV: Eorzea Academy and a digital ebook version of Saki FFXIV are also available.
FFXIV: Eorzea Academy
FFXIV: Eorzea Academy is an alternate universe manga series featuring side-stories of Final Fantasy XIV heroes and villains as students and teachers. The tone is lighthearted, with low stakes and no violence or animosity.
One volume has been released, and the Manga Up promotion grants free access to chapters 1.1 through 4.1.
Saki FFXIV
Saki FFXIV is a more grounded story centered on a high school student named Saki and her friends, who are members of their school’s mahjong club. The series explores their real-life club activities and their adventures in the Final Fantasy XIV MMORPG.
The promotion includes free access to chapters 0 through 8.2.
Final Fantasy XIV is playable on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The manga series FFXIV: Eorzea Academy and Saki FFXIV are available to read via Manga Up.
The free chapters will be available until April 26, 2026, coinciding with the end of the US Fan Festival event.
