The New Orleans Saints are set to make history this season by hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL’s first-ever regular-season game played in France. The highly anticipated matchup is scheduled for October 25 in Paris, according to multiple reports.

The announcement was first teased by the @OzzyNFL account on Twitter, known for leaking schedule details. The news was later confirmed by Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

All remaining international games yet to be officially announced are expected to be revealed on Wednesday morning.

This year, the NFL will expand its international footprint with a record nine games played abroad, including:

  • Three games in London
  • One game in Paris
  • One game in Madrid
  • One game in Melbourne
  • One game in Germany
  • One game in Rio de Janeiro
  • One game in Mexico City

This marks an increase from the five international games held in 2025. The league, which currently operates under a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the NFL Players Association allowing up to 10 international games, aims to further expand to 16 games in the future.
