The hosts of ‘The View’ mocked Tucker Carlson on Monday after he insisted in a recent interview that he never suggested President Trump could be the antichrist—despite video evidence to the contrary.

Speaking to The New York Times, Carlson reflected on his regrets regarding his past support for Trump. During the interview, journalist Lulu Garcia-Navarro confronted him with clips from his own show, where he had previously asked, ‘Could this be the Antichrist?’

Carlson denied making the statement, claiming,

‘I actually did not say, “Could this be the Antichrist?” I don’t know where that comes from, but I know that those words never left my lips because I’m not sure I fully understand what the Antichrist is, if there’s just one.’

The denial sparked laughter from the ‘The View’ co-hosts, who weighed in on Carlson’s public split with Trump and the MAGA movement.

Co-Hosts React to Carlson’s Denial

Co-host Sara Haines mocked Carlson’s serious tone while denying his own words, saying through laughter:

‘He’s sounding more and more like Trump.’

Whoopi Goldberg expressed frustration, emphasizing the prevalence of video evidence:

‘This is the problem! I mean, this is what happens. There is video everywhere, of everything! Anything you’ve said ever is on video!’

Alyssa Farah Griffin praised Garcia-Navarro’s journalistic approach, stating:

‘She probes in the way only a journalist can. She’s not showing her opinion. She’s incredibly objective, and she has receipts on everything.’

Haines further mocked Carlson’s denial, imitating his delivery:

‘He’s like “I didn’t say that.” Yes you did, boo!’
