President Donald Trump launched a series of Truth Social posts on Monday, attacking critics of his Iran strategy while insisting he remains under no pressure to reach a deal with Tehran as peace talks stall.

With a looming deadline for the current ceasefire approaching, Trump denied claims that Israel had influenced the U.S. to enter the war, declaring, "Time is not my adversary" in resolving the conflict. He also asserted that any eventual agreement would be "FAR BETTER" than the 2015 nuclear deal negotiated by former President Barack Obama.

Trump’s Statements on Key Issues

On Israel’s Role in the War

"Israel never talked me into the war with Iran, the results of Oct. 7th, added to my lifelong opinion that IRAN CAN NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON," Trump wrote in one post.

On Media Coverage

"The Anti-America Fake News Media is rooting for Iran to win, but it's not going to happen, because I'm in charge!" Trump wrote in another post.

On the Iran Nuclear Deal

"The DEAL that we are making with Iran will be FAR BETTER than the JCPOA," Trump said, referring to Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear deal with Tehran, which he called "dangerous."

Trump added that the existing deal was "a guaranteed Road to a Nuclear Weapon," which he claimed would not occur under his proposed agreement.

On Pressure to Finalize a Deal

"I read the Fake News saying that I am under 'pressure' to make a Deal. THIS IS NOT TRUE! I am under no pressure whatsoever, although, it will all happen, relatively quickly!" Trump wrote in another post.

He further stated, "Time is not my adversary, the only thing that matters is that we finally, after 47 years, straighten out the MESS that other Presidents let happen because they didn't have the Courage or Foresight to do what had to be done with respect to Iran."

Current State of Play

U.S. and Iranian negotiators are scheduled to meet in Pakistan ahead of the ceasefire agreement’s expiration on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to drive up oil prices. On Sunday, American forces seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman after it allegedly attempted to bypass a U.S. naval blockade.

Tehran also reclosed the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend—a critical chokepoint for global oil supply.
