Former President Donald Trump launched a barrage of over 55 posts on Truth Social within a three-hour span on Monday night, targeting former President Barack Obama with baseless accusations and conspiracy theories.

Trump’s posts began with the explosive claim that Obama had attempted a coup, accompanied by a call to “arrest Obama the traitor.” He then amplified months-old remarks from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who alleged that the Obama administration had spread the “lie” that Russian President Vladimir Putin preferred Trump over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election—a claim Putin has since openly admitted.

As Trump’s posting continued, his allegations escalated in severity. He shared posts falsely claiming Obama profited $120 million from the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and accused Obama of committing “the most heinous crimes in American history,” including the wiretapping of Trump Tower. Other posts referenced figures such as Senator Mark Kelly, Hillary Clinton, and special counsel Jack Smith, but Obama remained the central focus.

After roughly 30 minutes of nonstop posts, Trump briefly shifted to racially charged content. He shared a video that appeared to show young Black individuals shoplifting from a convenience store, with the caption: “This is why the convenience store chain ‘Wawa’ is closing stores one after another.”

He followed this with another video, purportedly showing a Black DoorDash worker eating a customer’s food in her car, accompanied by the text: “Always scheming.”

Trump also posted a video of a Black man knocking over a waiter’s tray in a restaurant, writing: “I wouldn’t call him a man. A real man would never disrespect another person like this. I’ll call him what he is, a POS!”

Trump returned to political attacks, sharing a video featuring right-wing lawyer Mike Davis labeling Obama a “demonic force.” This incident is not the first time Trump’s Truth Social posts have taken on racist undertones while targeting Obama. In February, he shared a video on the platform that ended with a clip of the Obamas’ faces superimposed on ape bodies.

Trump’s posting spree extended into the early hours of Tuesday, resuming at sunrise. Among his posts were a fabricated reference to a fictional “Federal Victory Note” currency bearing his image, an AI-generated meme mocking House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries as “Low IQ,” and an AI-created image depicting Obama, President Joe Biden, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi swimming in a sewage-filled Reflecting Pool.
