Valve has opened a reservation system for the Steam Controller after it sold out rapidly on May 4th.
The reservation system allows users to secure a place in line for future restocks of the $99 controller, though immediate availability is not guaranteed.
How to Reserve a Steam Controller
To reserve a Steam Controller, your Steam account must meet the following criteria:
- Be in good standing
- Have made a purchase before April 27, 2024
Once a controller becomes available for your account, Valve will send an email prompting you to complete the purchase. You will have 72 hours to buy the controller before the reservation expires.
What Happens After Reservation?
Reservations do not guarantee immediate delivery but ensure your place in line for restocks. Valve will notify you via email when a controller is available for purchase.
